Dog parks in Parramatta
City of Parramatta designates 12 off-leash areas, most of them unfenced: the council says that maximises running space, reduces crowding and conflict, and encourages owners to supervise, while some sites are fenced to separate dogs from immediate hazards. The one this site has verified is West Epping Park in Epping, which is fenced; the rest have not been verified individually here and are not listed. Rules: keep effective control even off-leash, pick up after your dog, and make sure it is microchipped, registered and wearing a collar with a phone number; no more than four dogs per person; dogs may not go within 10 metres of a playground or a food preparation area such as a BBQ, and are banned from public bathing areas including Lake Parramatta and from sensitive environmental areas even on a lead.

West Epping Park
City of Parramatta
One of the 12 designated dog off-leash areas the City of Parramatta lists, and the only one in Epping; the council groups it with its fenced areas, without the separate quiet and playful sections it notes for four other sites. The council's own park page describes it as an off-leash dog park and lists picnic shelters, BBQs, temporary toilets and on-site parking, while the off-leash page states that bag dispensers and bins are provided at every designated area. Off-leash hours are not published on either page, so they are left unverified.
