Sutherland Shire Council permits dogs off-leash at Silver Beach at all times between the third and fourth rock groynes at the western end. Dogs are prohibited elsewhere on Silver Beach; the page lists toilets, a bubbler, bags and bins, and notes a cafe across the road.
